Would you have cosmetic surgery, what would you have done and why?

Hiya, just wondering for a piece of writing that i'm compiling about why people want sugery and what they would want doing? Also, would you put your savings on having cosmetic enhancements and risk being in debt?

Would you have cosmetic surgery, what would you have done and why?
I'd have my man boobs reduced -for obvious reasons!

Wouldn't get into debt over it though.
Reply:i think if i were to have anything done, i would get a breast lift, but only if i had money laying around to spend, but not if i'm living paycheck to paycheck!! :)
Reply:I've had 3 C-Sections so I'd get that looking nicer.

I've also had my Gall bladder removed so I'd pay to have the scars either lazered or improved [if thats possible]

I'd never spend money I didn't have or get in debt though,

Cos I get used to it, and it's part of me
Reply:I think cosmetic surgery is just another way for people to give into the sad, pathetic dogma of celebrities and television. Everyone is beautiful. The only way I condone plastic surgery is if you are in a horrible accident and are disfigured.
Reply:Cosmetic surgery is false advertising, should be banned under the trade descriptions act.

:P
Reply:I would probably have cosmetic surgery, but just a breast lift and maybe implants. My reason, I'm 21, I have a 9 month old baby, and the pregnancy took it's toll. I, however, would not put my savings into it, nor would I risk being in debt because of it.
Reply:I would NEVER have cosmetic surgery done on me unless there was an emergency or accident that made me unable to live with myself without it. I'm currently happy with my body the way it is and I feel sad that there is an increasing population of people who feel that their looks are inadequate. The reason I was born the way that I am with the features I have is because it suits me and trying to change that I would be trying to be someone I'm not. While I admit that I have small boobs and a somewhat wide nose, these parts of my body make me who I am and different from a Barbie doll. People want to get cosmetic procedures done because they have been swept up by society and wish to obtain the ideal figures portrayed in the media. Since this is not possible, many people's self-esteems fall lower and lower and they become addicted to the temporary satisfaction that surgery and eating disorders bring. I wouldn't be surprised if some risk their life savings on it because they are so emotionally dependent on surgery that they feel as if they need it to survive. They don't realize that instead of trying to change themselves so that society can accept them, they should be the ones to take charge of their lives and make rules so that society can follow their example. People need to be proud of who they are and stop reinforcing the media's negative example. People with "strong noses" or small lips should love and cherish them as they do themselves. Trying to be like other people and changing what they were born with would not be helping the situation if what they lack is much deeper inside.

Addition: Makeover shows are OK b/c they just fix up the person so that they can learn how to take better of themselves in the future. It is great for people to try to present themselves well and try to look good, but I think that they should not take it to extremes and change things that do not need to be changed.
Reply:I don't want cosmetic surgery but if I had to answer your question I'd get brilliantly sized breasts (more than my humble AAs but not porn star huge). Maybe a nose job....I dunno....I would never do it unless I had more money than I knew what to do with.
Reply:I would not get cosmetic surgery unless I was in a horrible accident and my face was destroyed. I think that we should all be happy with the way God (and our parents) made us. I mean when you look in the mirror you are looking at not only yourself but both of your parents. I am not completely satisfied with my body, but I would rather exercise and eat right and than surgically alter it.
Reply:id get a boob job,its a confidence thing really, of course cosmetic surgery is a big thing and very expensive, most ppl dont plan on anything goin wrong so cant afford to have it fixed if it does, thats one reason im put off
Reply:If I had the money then I'd most likely get a tummy tuck or liposuction just to get rid of some excess fat that really bugs me!

If I had even more money I'd get my breasts done too! Why not?
Reply:Hair transplant, forhead area is too high. clip under my tongue to make it longer. I guess I wouldn't spend the money, as I never have. Those things don't bother other people, so may not be important.
Reply:I would have breast reduction, lipo on my thighs, my calves slimmed down and a tummy tuck.
Reply:Heyy,

No I would'nt Because anything anybody gets done to do with plastic surgery or somthing turns out wrong: wrong as in it looks to fake.

People think that they look better by getting plastic surgery but they dont, they look they opposite of wat they think.

I dont get it!!!! Only 50% of the people get good results when they do somthing like cosmetic surgery.

Do The Right Thing!!!
Reply:Yes,definately.I have awful bags under my eyes and people are always commenting that i look tired even though i am not.Make up does not disguise them and i feel i look older than i am.I have decided to have them removed and am looking into the cost of procedures abroad as they are cheaper. I am undrestandably apprehensive about the procedure but only because i have expectations that it must be successful or my confidence will further suffer.I don't believe this is vanity but more a feeling of insecurities. We live in a society that does tend to focus on image but i work hard and will not be relying on anyone else to fund this for me so i feel I can justify the expense.I would go into debt for it as most people go into debt for major purchases. My op would cost between £1500 and £3000 which i don't consider excessive for the right result. Now if i could get on one of those makeover programmes i would be ecstatic but i believe they have long waiting lists and time is not on my side.
Reply:No, I would never have cosmetic surgery, unless of course I was disfigured through and accident. There's more to life than looking in the mirror. You can have as many nips and tucks you want, but if you are a boring person it's not going to change that. There again, if you are unhappy with your looks and it is making you ill, maybe there is a case...

As for putting yourself in debt, I can't see the point.
Reply:i'd make a heart surgery . i want them to take you from my heart

coz its hard to get over you hun
Reply:If i could have anything i would have some lipo on my bum and thighs. They arent fat, just bigger than the rest of me because i have a condition that means those muscles dont work properly. I wouldnt ever dream of spending savings or getting into debt on cosmetic surgery unless i had been ill or in an accident etc.

Though a boob lift after babies would be considered....
Reply:i would never risk my savings, but if i had money a boob lift. also permanent eyeliner so i never have to mess w/that stuff again.
Reply:Well, maybe a tummy tuck because i have baby fat in that area and that kind is almost impossible to get rid off with diet and exercise. I would never do it if i have not the money, having a debt is just for emergencies for me.
Reply:Cosmetic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.
Reply:No, I would NOT make debt to have it done. Should I have funds I most certainly will have three things done. One - my boobs. I am 5ft 1inch and am only a 30-32, but have broad shoulders. I look hidious without wearing a bra resulting in not being able to wear nice sleeveless or tank tops. two I would have my teeth done. I have false teeth and the chin tends to disappear after a few years. Three - I HATE it when I want to grow my hair and it looks so untidy and stringy. So I would do the hair extensions until such time as my own hair is long.
Reply:I think I'd have a nose job because I think my nose to be quite big when I don't smile, and wen I do smile, my nose seems to spread all over my face and is most annoying and unattractive, I think.
Reply:I wouldn't, I like the way I look.
Reply:yep i would have a boob job lol

mine are way too big at 36 e and i want an a cup

mainly because my back hurts tho

not too look better

but i think i would look better if they were smaller
Reply:I wouldnt...scared of doctors, dont want scars, things could got wrong and most things i dont like about myself i can fix my doing exercise
Reply:I plan for a breast augmentation after kids but i will not risk financial stability for it

camcorders
