Can you wear cosmetic lens with a different base curve?

I wear normal contacts with 8.5 base curve and want cosmetic lens with 8.6. Is this dangerous? Also i wear 14.5 diameter and the cosmetic ones are 14.0. Is this alright too? Heres a link to the contacts i want: http://www.circlelens2u.com/145_Crystal-...

The difference in the base curve and diameter shouldn't be a problem. The measurements are well within tolerance.

The problem is that colored lenses don't always fit the way they should, even if all the measurements are identical.

There is probably only a 75 % chance that they will fit right and stay centered on your eyes.

The clear center on those lenses appear quite large though, so it may work out fine, even if they slip a bit too much.

You realize they are conventional lenses, which means you will have to do protein removal steps also in the cleaning process.

Good luck....and if you do get them, at the first signs of discomfort or redness, take them off and ditch them.
Reply:Yes, not a problem at all
