Cosmetic surgery for pets?

Location Melbourne looking for a vet who also

does 'cosmetic surgery' for dog/cat re: showing corrections.

Cosmetic surgery for pets?
Isn't this illegal according to most show rules?
Reply:Cats don't have problem with their looks, if he is not affected by by something that will hurt his quality of life, such as a split lip or eye deformity, please don't put him through unnecessary pain.
Reply:If your cat doesn't have what it takes to be in a show you shouldn't make changes to it. How would you feel if someone did that to you for their own selfishness?
Reply:Altering a dog or cat's natural bone structure or muscle structure to make it more in line with the breed's show standard is illegal and will get you disbarred from the rings. All animals compete AS THEY WERE BORN, all natural, no cosmetic surgery.
