Which cosmetic line is the best? Mary Kay or Avon? Why?

My mom has sold Avon in the past and is now selling Mary Kay now which cosmetic and skin care line is the best?

Which cosmetic line is the best? Mary Kay or Avon? Why?
I used to sell Mary Kay. I think it's better and I still use several products (tho' not all). I think Avon has more perfume in it and that breaks me out.

Tell your mom to go to the meetings and follow the sales advice (pitch the $250 complete set or whatever exactly like they tell you to). It's the only way to be successful in MK.

Good luck to her and you! :)
Reply:Mary Kay is better to me quality wise but Avon is way more afforable for the average person.
Reply:i love mary kay. i think that mary kay has more to offer for cosmetic and skin then avon.
Reply:I would say Mary Kay only because they do more hands-on things and let you try out the product. I am always reluctant to try new Avon products because I cannot test them first. Especially foundation and stuff like that.
Reply:Well, it depends on your budget...

Mary Kay is far better than Avon but avon is more affordable... and its quality is not that bad.....
Reply:AVON IS CHEEP
Reply:I would say Avon. The products are less expensive. They also have lots of different products.
Reply:I think Avon
Reply:i used to sell both too-- I personally think that Mary Kay is a better line - due to the fact there products have better quality and color selections.
Reply:I prefer Mary Kay. I have tried both Avon and MK, as well as Lancome, Clinique, MAC Bare Escentials, etc. and Mary was the best for me, skincare and cosmetic. I started selling MK because I use so many of their products and really believe in the business. By the way, it isn't a pyramid or multi-level marketing business; It is dual-marketing.
Reply:I am an Avon Representative, but I have never tried Mary Kay. Avon does cost less, but it doesn't mean it isn't any good. Personally, I love the products and use alot of the products, from the shower gel to the hair spray (and everything in between). I believe both lines have good products, but it depends on your own skin type. You should try to get two weeks worth of skin care samples of comparative Avon and Mary Kay products. It takes a few days to see if the product really works (neither line is a miracle worker). As for the cosmetics, I would say try them both and see what's best for you. I don't know about Mary Kay, but Avon has a 100% guarantee on everything they sell, so if the makeup or skin care isn't what you expected, you can return it for a full refund. What works for one person, may not work for someone else. Hope this helps.
