Has anyone has cosmetic contouring for filing down slightly pointed teeth. How effective is treatment?

Depending on how much contouring is needed it can be very effective. Small amounts are not a problem, if it is large amounts of contouring teeth may become sensitive to hot and cold, but in your case sounds like it is minimal and should be just fine.

Reply:Its effective- but you have to be careful. Lots of adjusting to natural teeth can cause premature microfractures (usually caused by aging) So make sure they dont' go drill crazy!
