Cosmetic contact Lenses?
I too have brown and brown. My dad had hazel brown so I always wanted green eyes. I've tried a few different brands of color contacts that offer different variations of types of green ( very bright, almost alien green to ' natural ' coloration ) and the problem that I found was that you end up having a ring of your eye color surrounding your pupil ( the black dot in the middle of your eye ). This is because the industry has a standard space of clarity to allow for your pupil. To get a custom contact lens that has coloration through out is very expensive. Go to any reputable eyewear store ( ie: PearleVision, LensCrafters ) and ask to try on the lenses that you want to see. Understand, they won't feel too comfortable because they are not fitted for you exactly, but, you can get an idea on how they will look.

Good luck and have fun.
Reply:You can probably get them at any eyewear store. I think they're not too expensive.
Reply:nice fake avatar then..

i think like 20 bucks you order them from acuvue or some shi*t
Reply:most people with brown hair will look good in green eyes. i say go for it because you dont know how they will look until you have tried right.
Reply:They wont look bad if you stick to a nature, forest, green. Sorry I dont know where you will find them, but all I can say is that I am like you brown hair brown eyes, but my dad has green eyes and he also had brown hair and he looks nice in a dad kinda way
Reply:I had a pair of green prescription lenses and they looked OK. About $100 not including eye exams, etc.

You can go into an optical store and try a pair on and see what you think. Contacts are not for everyone. Many people can't wear them.
Reply:you can get them right off the Internet, mailed right to your house, as cheap as $30.00

sorry can't remember the name of any websites.

just type in "non corrective, or colored contacts" and you should be in biz! ;)
Reply:Go to an optometrist and they will show you how to use them and order you some. I don't know how much they cost. I have brown hair and green eyes so thanks for the compliment. :)
Reply:To be honest with you, contact lenses are a very uncomfortable way to change an eye color. Think, do you like to put your finger in your eye. If you have never tried it, go wash your hands and try putting you finger in towards your pupil. It is very difficult to do. Not only that you will risk infection in your eyes. Maybe you should think about what God gave you hun... I bet you are beautiful, so now what you should do is go look in the mirror. There is nothing boring about brown hair and brown eyes, it is gorgeous.

Good Luck and I hope this helps!
Reply:I don't know the current cost of cosmetic contact lenses but you could easily call some optometrist or ophthalmologist or even Walmart 's eye center or Vision Works and ask.

I don't like the colored lenses because they look so fake. Frankly I'd have a difficult time looking at someone who wore them.

I once wore ordinary contacts and they were a light shade of brown so I could see the red dot on them so I could tell the right one from the left one....and I found that when I bought clothes with them on, and then took out the brown contacts, I was buying strange colored clothes. So be aware that "maybe" you might be buying off colored clothes when you wear the green cosmetic lenses.

Not everyone can wear contacts.

I have brown eyes and I like brown eyes.
Reply:Contact lenses, even if worn cosmetically, have to be fit to the eye's cornea and can't be prescribed unless your eye doctor says your eyes are in good health and can tolerate contact lenses. Visit your eye doctor for an exam and discuss with him or her what color you want your eyes to appear, even if you don't need visual correction. Generally, contact lens eye exams cost around $90, depending on where you go, and colored lenses vary in cost, depending on if you get disposable or daily wear. Around this time of the year they have "back to school specials" as well, so depending on your age, you can probably find a good deal for the exam and the lenses combined.
Reply:You'll have to be fitted for the contacts. If not, you run the risk of doing severe damage to your eye. Other than that, they don't cost much.
