Cosmetic surgery question?

I DO NOT WANT TO HERE ALL THE " WAIT UNTILL YOUR OLDER OR IT WILL GET BETTER" Answers. I'm sixteen and I want Lower lid blepharoplasty.

Why ?

Becuase Even though I am 16 people out on the street always think I'm older , people have also said that I am 30 , I always look tierd when Im not and I am a very energetic person , I hate taking photos becuase They look hidiouse in them and when I smile I have large hollows under my eyes , I now hardly ever leave my house to go out and when I am out always keep my hands under my eyes so people do not see them. I cry every night.

I have tried everything , some get rid of the darkness but most of the darkness is caused by the saGgy skin and the hollowness

I have never seen anyone with eyes like mine.

So thats why I want to have it , its not becuase of anyone else but becuase It would make me feel better and not stay at home all day , pilling on makeup and wearing sunglasses in winter.

CAN I HAVE COSMETIC SURGERY AT 16 WITH PERENTAL CONCENT?

Cosmetic surgery question?
Yes you can have surgery WITH parental consent. There is however another procedure without surgery that can help you. It's called Juvederm, it is a gel that is injected into hallow area under your eyes and fills them up. It makes the skin thicker and will also help with your dark circles. Research a plastic surgeon in your area and get a consultation. Good luck!
Reply:I don't know if you can, but I'm going through the same thing. I desperately want to have an eyelid surgery because I have excess skin on my eyelids and they look saggy, and I'm only 18. I know how it can be really frustrating. I'm not sure if I will get surgery done just yet, or wait till I'm 30 or something. I'm afraid it only keeps getting worse and worse. Whatever you do, do whatever makes you happy.
Reply:It would depend on the surgeon. Most will encourage you to wait until you're at least 18.
Reply:My father is a cosmetic surgeon, and he would never treat a patient under the age of 18 (unless it was exceptional circumstances, not merely for aesthetic reasons) even with parental consent because your body hasn't finished growing yet, and therefore if changes are made to it now, growth may affect the surgery and cause it to become even more hideous It's best to wait until you're 18 (or even better, 21 as that's the age when you properly stop growing) to ensure that the results stay the same.

I know that's not the answer you want to hear, but most ethical surgeons will not treat patients under 18. Saying that, I'm sure there will be some who agree to it - but would you want to put your face (especially the eyes which are a VERY delicate part of your body, affecting not only your whole appearance but one of your most important senses) in the hands of someone who was willing to perform surgery on someone too young to really have it done?

I would consider talking to a professional make up artist - there are amazing make up techniques that can completely change the look of the face that you may not have discovered yet. If you're still unhappy by the time you're 18, then I would visit a surgeon.

Hope that helped!
Reply:Im not sure if you can have it without parental consent. If you're really concerned, talk to your parents about it, and why it bothers you. Hopefully you will get their support.

You shouldnt turn to cosmetic surgery because you're unhappy with your looks. %26amp; you say you look 30, but maybe thats just what you think. We all have self esteem issues. ask your friends truthfully how old you look.

Try eating healthily, exercising and having a good night's sleep. You can improve your image without cosmetic surgery.

Just talk to your parents if this is taking a huge toll on you and you HAVE to do it or you wont feel better.........

Hope this helps..
